Starting On August 12th/13th

Hello All,
Please check for our first update on August 12th or 13th, hopefully stating that we arrived safe in Quito, Ecuador after travel through Miami.

Next, we'll prayerfully be able to send updates from where we're serving the Montanita Verde Children's Home near the town of San Lorenzo (seen lower-left in photo below) southwest of Manta (upper-right). It is yet unknown if we'll have a connection, even a signal, from an Ecuadorian communication company so if you don't hear from us please do not panic. Trust that we REALLY would love to be able to keep you updated and will try very hard to make this possible.

From all of us to all of you, THANK YOU for your support and prayers! We look forward to reporting what God has made possible.

Serving Him,

On behalf of Team Ecuador 07
John Spence

My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you begin this wonderful service to our Heavenly God. I know that you will bring much joy and blessings to all you encounter along the way. I wish I were joining you and know that with each and every day of your trip I will be praying for all of you and the people you service.

My heart is will you all - love & blessings Sue

I'm so excited that we can "walk" this path with you by blogging. Having grown up overseas as a missionaires daughter, these mission trips hit close to home.

Mike Darren: what does the air smell like? What sounds do you hear? What does the food taste like? Do the children sing? What's a day like in their life?

Take care,
Rebecca
